Río Dulce: Sweet River

  A true attraction is the Guatemalan sweet river. People used to cross the river by ferry in order to reach El Petén. A bridge has taken the place of the ferry but that has not reduced the charm of this destination. Located in the town Fronteras, Río Dulce is only west of the Carribean Sea.
